OPPORTUNITY Joan Jett and Kenny Laguna started Blackheart Records 25 years ago as a home for the music Joan was making before anyone wanted her. Now, all these years later, Joan is still at the forefront of Rock with her music and her label, both rich in talent and history. Squeaky was asked to create a site that spoke to the fan-bases of the label's bands and communicated the history and attitude that Joan has cultivated in her life and music.

SOLUTION For the design of the Blackheart Records site, Squeaky worked with the legendary rocker to create a visceral site that gives fans access to the music and news they want and provides the label with a manageable tool with which to support its musicians. It features streaming audio of its bands latest hits and opportunities for the fan base to tract the artist's tours, events and latest news.
